Spring Wildflower Walk
Spring wildflowers, also known as spring ephemerals, can only be viewed for a short time each year. These flowers take advantage of the sun-lit and moisture-rich woodlands to bloom quickly and to go seed in order to ensure their survival until next year. Join Julie Batty, our Land Stewardship Manager, and she leads a walk along the trails of Blandford to seek out some of these flowers before the forest shades over for the summer and they disappear again until next spring.
This program is recommended for ages 13 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Please Note: This program will take mostly outdoors. In the event of severe weather, the program will be canceled and participants will be notified of their refund options.
