Snow Dyeing Made Easy
If you like tie dyeing, then you’ll love snow dyeing! Join us on a winter Saturday to turn snow and dye into cool textile designs. We’ll provide everything needed, show you how to snow dye, and do all the messy work of rinsing, washing, and clean up. You just need to bring your creativity for this program. Your finished garments will be available to pick up at the front desk starting February 14th. We will be provide a unisex t-shirt and a tea towel for you to dye. This class may run shorter than 2.5 hours, but we are blocking plenty of time for everyone to get the time they need.
This program is intended for ages 13 and up. Registered teens must have a registered adult with them.
Please Note: This program will have an indoor portion. In the event of severe weather, the entire program may be held indoors or canceled. All participants will be required to wear masks and groups will be socially distanced by family units.
COVID-19 Information: As of August 23, 2021, in accordance with guidance from the CDC and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are also required indoors and outdoors for all guests participating in a mixed-age community program where attendees are from multiple households and social distancing cannot be maintained. If you or someone you are registering for a program cannot medically tolerate a mask, you must contact our Program Manager prior to booking a program to discuss your options.
