Nature Buds: Winter at Blandford

Bring your toddlers and preschoolers out to discover the wonders of nature at Blandford Nature Center! Each Nature Buds program will feature a story, outdoor discovery, and a hands-on activity. This program will run rain, snow or shine, so dress for the weather! Please note that this program is designed for children ages 1-5 and their caregivers. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Older children are welcome but should be prepared for the slower pace of this program. Registration is required for all participants, including children under 12 months.

Infants Under 12 months: Free (registration still required) 

An adult is required to register and attend this program with a child. 

Please Note: This program will take place mainly outdoors but may have indoor portions. Crafts may be done indoors depending on weather conditions including rain or wind. All participants ages 2 and up are required to wear masks for the duration of the program, regardless of vaccination status, and will be expected to stay socially distanced as much as possible. 

COVID-19 Information: As of August 23, 2021, in accordance with guidance from the CDC and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are also required indoors and outdoors for all guests participating in a mixed-age community program where attendees are from multiple households and social distancing cannot be maintained. If you or someone you are registering for a program cannot medically tolerate a mask, you must contact our Program Manager prior to booking a program to discuss your options.
