Extinct Embroidery with Solstice Handmade: Xerces Blue Butterfly

Join Dayna Walton of Solstice Handmade for an evening of stitching and socializing. We’ll show you everything you need to know to stitch the Xerces Blue Butterfly, an extinct species of butterfly related to a species found in Michigan you might be familiar with, the Karner Blue. This workshop is fit for both beginners and sewing pros. You will learn the basics of embroidery, including 4 stitches, and you will practice them by stitching a printed pattern. You will leave with a partially completed embroidery, everything you need to know to finish, and a new creative addiction. All supplies included.
