Bug Safari

Join us in the children’s garden for a bug safari! Let’s search for and identify insects and other creatures that live above and below the ground. Participate in a bug-related craft and take a look inside our vermicompost bin! We’ll also talk about composting for kids and how our worm friends help create nutrient-rich soil.

Pricing:

Member Child: $8

Member Caregiver: Free (registration still required)

Non-Member Child: $10

Non-Member Caregiver: $3 (price of admission)

Infants Under 12 months: Free (registration still required)

Each registered child is required to have a registered adult accompany them for this program.

Please note there are NO BATHROOMS AT THE FARM from September to March and only port-a-potties available from April to August. The nearest full-service bathrooms are at the Blandford Visitor Center, a 10-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away.

Please Note: This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled, and participants will be notified of their refund options.
