Bring your tiny farmer to the Blandford Farm for this farm-themed version of our popular Nature Buds program! This special winter program will feature a guided barnyard tour and the chance to help out with daily barn chores, all geared towards our youngest visitors. After the program you are welcome to stay for playtime in the Farm playscape. This program is designed for children ages 1-5 and their caregivers. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Older children are welcome but should be prepared for the slower pace of this program. Registration is required for all participants including children under 12 months.

Infants Under 12 months: Free (registration still required) Each registered child is required to have a registered adult accompany them for this program.
This program will take place at Blandford Nature Center Farm located at 3145 Milo Street NW, Grand Rapids MI 49504. Please note there are NO BATHROOMS AT THE FARM. The nearest bathrooms are the main Visitor Center, a 10-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away.
Please Note: This program will take place mainly outdoors. Crafts may be done indoors depending on weather conditions including rain or wind. All participants ages 2 and up are required to wear masks for the duration of the program and will be expected to stay socially distanced as much as possible.
COVID-19 Information: As of August 23, 2021, in accordance with guidance from the CDC and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are also required indoors and outdoors for all guests participating in a mixed-age community program where attendees are from multiple households and social distancing cannot be maintained. If you or someone you are registering for a program cannot medically tolerate a mask, you must contact our Program Manager prior to booking a program to discuss your options.
