Where the Wild Foods Are

Join a Master Naturalist to forage for edible plants in our marsh and meadow! Practice safe identification, sustainable harvesting, and specialty techniques for late spring foods. It is recommended that guests wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and muddy. You may also like to bring a journal to take notes or keep track of your finds!

This program is recommended for ages 13+. An adult chaperone is required to register and attend with any child registration.

Please Note: This program will take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled, and participants will be notified of their refund options. All participants are required to wear masks for the duration of the program and will be expected to stay socially distanced as much as possible.

Covid-19 Information: In accordance with current CDC guidelines and State of Michigan COVID regulations, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings and for the duration of all programs both inside and outside, regardless of vaccination status.
