Beginner’s Ink Drawing with Solstice Handmade: Poisonous Plants

Join Dayna Walton of Solstice Handmade for this all-levels class to explore the basics of drawing with pen and ink! Beginners are welcome – there is no experience necessary. Experienced artists are sure to learn a different approach and some new tips. We will cover drawing techniques such as stroke, mark-making, and proportion techniques, and then apply them to create a mini ‘field guide’ to common poisonous plants. We will also chat about identifying characteristics and the anatomy of these plants, for safety’s sake! All materials will be supplied, and participants will leave with 2 new artists pens to practice their new skills with!

This program is for adults and teens, ages 13 and up. Teens must be accompanied by a registered adult.
