When was the last time you jumped from rock to rock in a shallow pond trying to catch a tadpole? Or the last time you climbed into a tree fort? Wouldn’t you and your family enjoy exploring the wonders of the environment through a scavenger hunt? How about a romantic walk with your loved one on our luminary-lit trails? We are working to transform Blandford into a destination for active outdoor play that leads to healthier individuals, families, and communities. We plan to add active play areas in both the wet and dry meadow currently under renovation as well as quiet sitting areas nearby so you can observe your kids just being kids. We will also be adding programs to help you hone your inner artist, whether through photography, drawing, painting, or even natural sculpture.
